Last week, the message was to stick to the script. Just because there’s a little traffic on your way to your destination (success, progress, growth, or whatever your version of the destination is) doesn’t mean you’re not on the right path.
With that traffic, as long as you keep driving, only one of two things can happen. Either the traffic eases up and you arrive at your destination, or there’s traffic the whole time and you end up at your destination a little later than expected.
Either way, you’re going to get there.
Today’s message is along the same lines, but from a different perspective. This week’s message is to KEEP SWINGING!!
Whatever happens, just keep swinging. Eventually, you’re going to get a hit.
Let me elaborate.
Life is really one never-ending baseball game, and it’s rigged for you to win. Yes, you read that right. It’s actually rigged for you to win. If you thought otherwise, it may be time to change your perspective.
In this baseball game (the game of life) the only way you’re guaranteed to lose is if you stop swinging. As long as you keep swinging, you have a chance of getting a hit. And one hit is all you need to win.

Numbers Never Lie
It’s a numbers game. That’s like someone telling you to pick the winning number between 1 and 1,000,000, and they’ll give you a million chances to pick the right number.
That’s a game rigged for you to win.
The only way you lose in that game is if you stop trying to pick a number. If you started at 1 and kept trying until you got to 1,000,000, there’s a 100% chance that you would eventually pick the right number.
Life works the exact same way. It’s rigged for you to win.
The only way you lose is if you stop swinging or stop picking numbers. Translated to our pursuit of success, the simple phrase would be: just don’t quit.
The Swings
The business you want to start, keep trying to make it happen.
That dream job you want, keep working and upskilling yourself to get it.
That dream life you want to live, keep plotting and taking the necessary steps to achieve it.
Whatever your goals are, there are steps and things you know you have to do in order to achieve them. Some will be hard. Some will be easy. Some will be smooth. Some will be rough. However, as long as you don’t quit, and as long as you keep taking swings at the different chances and opportunities in front of you, it’s inevitable that you will eventually make contact.
When you do, that one hit might be the one that changes everything. So keep swinging. Keep showing up. Keep taking your chances. In reality, the only way to truly lose is to stop playing.
